VIA SUMMER SCHOOL ON UN´s SUSTAINABILITY GOALS

This Summer School unfolds the United Nations’ sustainable development goals through student participation in a cross cultural and cross educational context. The goals are unique in that they call for action from all countries; poor, rich and middle-income alike to promote prosperity, all the while protecting the planet.
Through student participation in a cross-cultural and cross-educational context, this summer school will unfold the United Nations’ sustainable development goals. The goals derive from the United Nations’ international agreements on processing towards explicit sustainability in 2030.
The course is a collaboration between:
VIA Faculty of Health
VIA Faculty of Education and Social Studies
VIA School of Business, Technology and Creative Industries
The course is based on an entrepreneurial approach and students will develop their creativity through case-based group work. Cases will be real cases from organisations/businesses.
The course will focus on the following global topics, inspired by the United Nations’ sustainable development goals:
Health and well-being for people of all ages
Reduced inequality within health care, different ethnicities, social classes and gender
Sustainability through circularity in production, consumption, cities and communities
Strong, democratic and engaging institutions for allJonatan Marcussen
Vision for bæredygtige fremtider: At fremtidige generationer anskuer bæredygtighed som den største selvfølge.
Vision for fremtidens by: En grøn og bæredygtig by, med respekt for det økosystem vi alle er en del af.
